My name is Katie. I'm a Journalism student in Ontario, Canada. I have a passion for writing, DIY, travel, video games, technology, art of all kinds, and cutesy things.
I started this blog mostly out of boredom but also as a way to flex my creative muscles. I'm learning various design and editing platforms in school so this is a practice space as well.
I enjoy graphic design very much! I'm still quite novice but I'm learning as I go. I made all the headers and junk for this blog; I'm rather proud of them.
I would call myself a photography enthusiast since I don't have the knowledge and experience to call myself a photographer yet. I own a Nikon Coolpix P7100, which I guess is a higher end point-and-shoot camera. I've learned a lot about aperture, shutter speed, white balance, etc. in the past few months and am now able to take pretty good pictures in manual mode. I count that as an accomplishment, let me have my moment.
Journalism is my calling, I have a constant thirst for knowledge. My curiosity is insatiable! I also like to know what's going on around the world while informing others. Journalism also opens a gateway for me, the ability to travel! I get bored very easily so a change of scenery is always welcome.
